Beaver Falls, PA– The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its 2013-14 men’s soccer team academic award this week honoring teams that posting a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Under the direction of five year head coach Gary Dunda, the Geneva men’s soccer Golden Tornadoes posted a team 3.31 GPA during the fall season; propelling them as NSCAA 2013-14 honorees.

Geneva’s Athletic Director Van Zanic commented, “there is a reason why we call these kids student-athletes. The athletic department at Geneva College and our coaches take great pride in promoting the importance of academics. This is a great honor for our men's soccer program and it validates the work that coach Dunda is doing within that program.”
