Beaver Falls, PA – Junior Heidi Mann (Colorado Springs, CO/Evangelical Christian Academy) recorded her second straight double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds and sophomore Nicole Hyland (Trafford. PA/Penn-Trafford) scored a career-high 23, but Bethany responded to every challenge and prevailed 84-57.

“Nicole had a great game, she was especially awesome in the second half,” said Geneva coach Lori Wynn. “We started out well but things fell apart and we had to scramble to get back.

“We hadn’t played for a week but it’s always hard to respond after finals.”

Geneva falls to 2-6 overall and 1-2 in the President’s Athletic Conference and will resume play Monday with a home non-conference game against Notre Dame (MD) at 5 p.m.
