PAC 60th Anniversary Celebrates Softball; Geneva’s Davis & DiLonardo Highlighted

Beaver Falls, PA – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference continues to celebrate its’ 60th Anniversary with the creation of anniversary celebratory teams. This week the league released the Softball 60th anniversary team highlighting Geneva’s Ashley Davis (New Middletown, OH/Springfield Local) and Julie DiLonardo (New Kensington, PA/Plum).

Davis, a 2014 Geneva graduate, finished her career as a Golden Tornado with 202 combined wins between her campaigns on the volleyball and softball teams.  Davis dominated the shortstop position as a member of the Golden Tornadoes' 2012 PAC title team. She finished her Geneva career with a .347 batting average, 182 hits and 95 RBI while receiving Geneva’s Athletic Director Academic list honor as a junior and senior.

DiLonardo holds with ease five (career and single season) Geneva softball school records after her pitching career as a Golden Tornado. She was a part of Geneva's first-ever PAC Championship in 2012, earning PAC Player of the Year and All-PAC First Team honors. She was also named to the NCAA All-Region team in 2012. She left Geneva’s campus resetting the career pitcher wins record to 70, ERA to 1.73 and strikeouts with 573.
