Former National Christian Educator of the Year to speak at Geneva

Author Clara Ruffin will speak at Geneva College on Wednesday, April 15 at 4:30 p.m. in the West Reading Room of McCartney Library. Her presentation is entitled "Educators Are Our Nation's Architects.”

Ruffin has published five books of poetry and has been published in several national magazines. In 1998, she was selected as the National Christian Educator of the Year. She is the Christian Educators Association International (CEAI) Regional Director of six New England states. Ruffin and her husband are cofounders of the Ministry of the Open Door and the Harford Friendship Kids’ Camp, a summer day camp for inner-city youth.

Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free and open to the public.
