PennDOT Information Session on April 20

In response to the ongoing construction of Route 18 that recently began again following a winter break, Geneva College will host a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Information Session exclusively for students, faculty and staff on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in Skye Lounge of the Student Center. PennDOT Inspector Ken Buckley, the project contractor and others involved in this ongoing roadwork will inform the campus community of improvements to be made on PA State Route 18 in the coming months.

In addition to explaining the project’s scope, timetable and expected results, the speakers will address specific questions that attendees bring to the Information Session. Members of the campus community are encouraged to attend this event and find out what is happening on the road that provides all access to campus, Route 18.

PennDOT is holding this Information Session before the students complete their classes for the spring '15 semester. There will be a public meeting offered to the larger Beaver County community in May, providing enough notice to enable the general public to be able to attend the event. That meeting, with a date and time to be announced soon, will be held on Geneva’s campus.

Geneva College invites students to step forward and leap ahead with an academically excellent, Christ-centered and affordable education.
