Zanic

Beaver Falls, PA – Van Zanic is no stranger to the Geneva Athletic Department. Today many know Zanic as Coach or Athletic Director. The 1992 football, baseball Geneva alumnus has held an office recruiting, competing and mentoring the Golden Tornadoes since 1998.

As part of NCAA Division III Week, the Presidents’ Athletic Conference has selected the multi-hat personality of Geneva’s own Van Zanic to represent what Division III athletics is all about.

The PAC shares the story of Coach and Athletic Director Van Zanic with the NCAA Community at http://pacathletics.org/sports/2015/4/4/zanic-15.aspx?id=722&.

On the website, Van Zanic says, “College can be challenging. And at the Division III level, student-athletes are challenged in the classroom and in the athletic arena. I am grateful for the experiences that I had as a student-athlete at Geneva. And the opportunity I now have to lead the college’s Athletic Department and impact the lives of the next generation of Geneva students is a blessing that I don’t take lightly.”
