In addition to usual HR topics, course topics include group dynamics, styles of communication, problems of supervision, ethics and decision-making and organizational behavior. Courses in the Human Resources major prepare graduates to respond effectively to rapid change and cultivate broad perspectives so necessary for effective leadership in today′s diverse organizations.
The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Management is a distinctive bachelor’s completion program in business designed for working adult students. With a fully online format that allows busy adults to complete coursework when it’s most convenient, students develop functional management skills and knowledge through practical curriculum grounded in best business practice. Courses prepare graduates to be effective leaders who can manage resources, solve problems and oversee employees.
The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Leadership (BSOL) degree is a business-oriented program that equips students to ascend to administrative and leadership positions in their corporations or organizations. Building upon the adult student′s existing work experience, the B.S. in Organizational Leadership major provides students the concepts and tools to mobilize and motivate employees to reach desired goals, a better understanding of the complex challenges facing today′s organizations and how leaders can react to them and an ethical framework for making decisions that affect others in the workplace.
