Kimberly T. Suders Book-Signing on Campus

Home Sweet Glass Home

Home Sweet Glass HomeGeneva College is proud to support the Geneva Women’s Soccer Team and recognize Pastor Appreciation Month by sponsoring a book-signing for Kimberly T. Suders, author of Home Sweet Glass Home, on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon in McCartney Library. The location will be outside the library entrance if the weather is nice.

Suders has served for over 30 years with her husband, Dr. Neil Suders, in Christian ministry and leadership. As a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in English, communication and biblical studies, Suders aims to use her training in leadership to nurture and promote God’s Kingdom. With extensive leadership experience as an educator and mother, Suders hopes to provide encouragement for the rising generation of leaders today and in the future.

Her book, Home Sweet Glass Home (Xulon Press, June 2015), “is a sincere, uncensored, and fully exposed account of the heart, life experiences, challenges, and scrutiny of a ministry leader,” according to Catalog Review. “Through it, Suders hopes to encourage and strengthen all leaders, whether pastors, educators, coaches, students, or business leaders, while compassionately affirming the biblical mandates for ethical, moral, and godly leadership.”

Home Sweet Glass Home encompasses three keys for becoming an effective leader: “Integrity, Sincerity and Transparency.”

Geneva Women’s Soccer Coach Linda Sumner noted that this will be a great opportunity for the Geneva community to speak to Suders about what it means to be a strong, effective and godly leader for the Kingdom, either in the classroom, in athletics, or in vocation outside of the Geneva community.

The cost for a book is $10 for students and Geneva faculty. Pastors may also purchase a signed copy of Home Sweet Glass Home for $10 in light of October being Pastor Appreciation month. Books will be sold at $9 a piece with the purchase of two or more. The publishers cost is $12.99 plus tax. All sales at Geneva must be paid for by cash or check.
