The Wednesday, September 16, 2015 episode of WORLD Radio’s The World and Everything in It has been posted to Geneva College’s website at http://www.geneva.edu/faith/the-world. Geneva is a sponsor of the half-hour news program produced by WORLD Radio, a nonprofit news team committed to honest reporting from a distinctive Reformed Christian worldview.

Each midweek edition of the show highlights top news stories, a political segment and a feature story.

Today’s headlines include Hungary’s declaration of a state of emergency due to the influx of Middle Eastern refugees, reaction to Russian military buildup in Syria, the impact of two major wildfires in California and more.

In the White House Wednesday portion of the program, WORLD Radio’s chief political correspondent Kent Covington discusses Republican candidates’ preparation for the second national debate and the debate’s impact on the contenders.

The program also includes a feature on radio as a tool for Christian evangelism and discipleship in Haiti.

With the help of this sponsorship, The World and Everything in It is aired on 1230 WBVP and 1460 WMBA every Wednesday at 3 p.m. A rebroadcast of the radio show is also available on the Geneva website after it is aired on 1230 WBVP and 1460 WMBA so that those who live outside of the listening area may be able to hear WORLD Radio news with a biblical Christian worldview.

The World and Everything in It covers current news topics as well as issues such as legal battles, personal freedoms, government policy, racial intolerance and other topics of concern to the Christian community – all from a biblical perspective.
