Newville, PA - While Geneva’s campus was packed during homecoming weekend, Geneva men’s cross country team competed at an unusual meet. The meet was held at a high school and the men’s team competed in two different races, both an 8K and a 4K at the Dickinson Invitational.

“In the 8K, freshman Josh Duffie (Canton, OH/Glenoak) once again was our number one runner improving by 20 seconds from last week,” said Coach Brian Yowler. Duffie finished in 31st place with a time of 27:36

“In fact, all four of our guys in the 8K improved by at least 15 seconds from last week's race.

“We finished eighth out of 27 teams in the 8K race, based on results posted at the meet.’

“We ran the rest of the men's team in the 4K race and freshman Andrew Domencic (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth), Levi Ebersole (Mifflinburg, PA/Mifflinburg), and Adler Roth (Wheeling, WV/Wheeling Central Catholic) led the way.”

Domencic finished 88th (13:36), Ebersole finished 100th (13:55), and Roth finished 122nd (14:25).

Friday, October 2 Geneva travels to Washington, PA to compete in the Washington & Jefferson Invitational.
