Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva hosted Grove City under the lights at Reeves Field Friday to open Presidents’ Athletic Conference play. The Golden Tornadoes took Grove City into overtime but fell in the 97th minute, 1-0. The one goal loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 4-4, 0-1 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Geneva’s backline and senior goalkeeper Anna McMullen (Uniontown, OH/Lake Center Christian) kept the 36 shot attempts from crossing the Geneva goal line until that 97th minute.

“We played very well against a great opponent,” said head coach Linda Sumner.
