Geneva Men’s Soccer Selected to Host ECAC Quarterfinals

Beaver Falls, PA – Monday afternoon the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its invite-only post-season line-up. The Geneva men’s soccer team was selected to host the ECAC quarterfinals at Reeves Field Wednesday, November 11 at 7 p.m.

Geneva (12-4-4) will host Hood College from Frederick, MD (12-8) as the third seed, Hood is seeded sixth.

There will be a five dollar admission fee into Reeves Field. Students will get in free with a Geneva Student ID.

“Our men’s soccer team has earned the right to host an ECAC postseason game,” said Van Zanic, Geneva’s Athletic Director.

“The environment at the PAC finals was a direct reflection on what coach Dunda and his guys have created. They have done a great job in building this program and hopefully our students can match that intensity on Wednesday night.”

The ECAC tournament schedule is as follows:

#1 Penn State-Behrend will host final four the weekend of November 13

#4 Arcadia vs. #5 Grove City @ Arcadia

#3 Geneva vs. #6 Hood @ Geneva

#2 Frostburg State vs. #7 Alvernia @ Frostburg State
