Newville, PA- The Geneva men’s Cross Country team competed in the Mid-East Regional Meet on Saturday.
Overall the team finished 20th in the race and third among the President’s Athletic Conference schools.
Josh Duffie (Canton, OH/Glenoak) had an impressive 54th place overal finish. Freshman Jacob Ames (Erie, PA/Pennsylvania Cyber) also had an impressive race by being the third finisher for Geneva cross country.
“Regionals is the largest and most competitive race of the season,” said head coach Brian Yowler. “I challenged the teams to look at this race as an opportunity to excel, and they certainly did! Hands down, this was our best performance of the season.”
