Geneva Women’s Soccer invited to ECAC Postseason

Beaver Falls, Pa – Monday afternoon the Geneva women’s soccer program breeched the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) postseason with an invitation to travel to New Jersey to face Fairleigh Dickinson University – Florham Campus in the ECAC quarterfinals on Wednesday, November 11 at 1 p.m.

The Golden Tornadoes finished their season 9-7 overall, 5-4 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Geneva joined the ECAC in June, 2014. Under the direction of head coach Linda Sumner, the Golden Tornadoes finished fifth in the PAC and have been invited for the first time in the program’s history to continue its season in ECAC postseason play.

Geneva and the Fairleigh Dickinson Devils (9-9-2) will kick-off at 1 p.m.
