Winter Orientation

Geneva College presents Winter Orientation for students new to the Geneva community from Thursday, January 7 to Sunday, January 10, 2016. This event serves to ease new students’ transition to Geneva and campus life.

By attending Winter Orientation, students learn about the support services available to help them succeed academically, adjust to collegiate life, and meet new friends and peers. During orientation they will meet staff, faculty and new friends who are invested in their success and presence at Geneva.

Graduate Assistant of First Year Experience Fenway Park says, “Some students are entering Geneva in January have never attended college, whereas others are transferring from various institutions. Students will meet with administration and staff while hearing from various offices in campus in order to get them acclimated to the Geneva community.”

Check-in for Winter Orientation begins Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2 p.m.

Many activities are on the schedule for the event, including financial aid sessions, student life introductions, bowling, BACKSTORY sessions, special meals and a Beaver Falls connection day.
