Adamczyk earns back-to-back high scoring honors

Thousand Oaks, CA – After racking up 27 points in Tuesday’s contest, Geneva senior guard Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/ Lake/Lake Erie) repeated as high scorer with 25 points on Wednesday against Whitman in Cal Lutheran’s Tournament.

Whitman opened up the game with a 20-8 lead after the first five minutes. Geneva would be unable to recover from Whitman’s early lead, dropping its overall record to 0-10 with the 103-81 loss.

"We played better against a really good Division III team with a 9-1 record," said head coach Jeff Santarsiero.

"Our out-of-conference play is over and not it's time for conference play!"

Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/ Connellsville) connected on six three-pointers in addition to his one from inside the arc, adding up to 20 points.

Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) led Geneva in rebounding with six and also contributed 14 points. 

Saturday, January 2 at 7:30 p.m. Geneva hosts Grove City in a return to Presidents’ Athletic Conference action.
