Latrobe, PA – Geneva, seeded ninth, visited the top seeded Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) men’s basketball Saint Vincent Saturday night. The Golden Tornadoes fell 81-55 lowering their overall record to 2-17, 2-10 in the PAC.
“They showed why they are the number one team in the conference tonight,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero.
“They came out and shot well. We closed the gap by battling in the second half – being four points away from winning the second half. “
Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/ Lake) led Geneva’s offensive efforts with 14 points supported by Matt Dragan (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) with 13 points.
David Oliver (Sewickley, PA/Quaker Valley) finished the game with team-high four rebounds.
Wednesday, February 3 Geneva hosts Washington & Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. during Geneva’s bring your own couch night. There will be a roped off section in the bleachers for those to place their couch and watch the game.
