Grove City, PA – Grove City opened the game with nine straight points and it turned out to be the difference in Saturday’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) men’s basketball match up between the Wolverines and Golden Tornadoes. The 70-61 loss hands Geneva a 3-18 overall record, 3-11 in the PAC.
“We battled hard against a good team,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “They hit shots every time we made our run. We are improving every game with a young team.”
Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/ Lake) scored 18 points while grabbing five rebounds.
Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) contributed 16 points, six rebounds, David Oliver (Sewickley, PA/Quaker Valley) 10 points and three rebounds.
Wednesday, February 10 the Golden Tornadoes host the Thomas More Saints at 7:30 p.m.
