Prospective students can register now for the Friday, July 15 event

Summer Open House(Beaver Falls, PA) High school students can gain a head start on their college search by attending the Summer Open House at Geneva College on Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m.  This enjoyable, informational day is a perfect way for prospective college students to get their feet wet as they are introduced to Geneva’s campus, faculty, students, classes and values.

The early bird catches the worm, and for high school students, this event is no exception.  Associate Vice President of Enrollment, David Layton, states, “An important way to find out if a college is a good fit is the campus visit.  Summer Open House is a wonderful opportunity to come to Geneva at the start of the college search process to experience the campus, receive an overview of what college is all about, and meet key people such as admissions counselors, faculty and staff.”

Visiting is an ideal way to experience college life firsthand.  Throughout the day, prospective students will have the opportunity to attend a class, take a campus tour, try the food at the dining hall, hear a panel of current students discuss their experiences at Geneva, and learn about Geneva’s admission and financial aid processes.  Summer Open House provides an overview of the college, preparing high schoolers for a future visit when classes are in session and all students and faculty are on campus.

Summer Open House is sponsored by Geneva’s Admissions Office located on the lower level of Alexander Dining Hall.  For more information and to register online, visit http://www.geneva.edu/admissions/events/summer_open_house.
