Geneva Men’s Cross Country Tabbed Third in PAC Coaches’ Preseason Poll

Beaver Falls, PA – The Geneva Men’s Cross Country team was tabbed third in the 2016 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) coaches’ preseason poll. After a fourth place finish in 2015, the Golden Tornadoes return sophomore Josh Duffie (Canton, Ohio / Glen Oak) and junior Clay Smith (Williamsport, Md. / Williamsport).

Duffie and Smith each competed against for the top runner’s spot on the Golden Tornadoes roster in 2015 allowing each of them to reach monumental personal and team successes.

Duffie finished fourth in the 2015 PAC Championships with a time of 27:19 minutes earning him the honor of all-conference first team member. In addition, he earned an impressive 54th finish at the NCAA Mid-East Regionals.

Smith finished fifth at the Washington & Jefferson Invitation last October with a time (27:35).
