2016 Homecoming Queen Callie Swartz and King TJ Acosta(BEAVER FALLS, Pa.) – In the midst of the exciting hustle and bustle of the weekends’ festivities, the 2016 Homecoming King and Queen were crowned at a pre-game ceremony of the Golden Tornadoes’ football game against Thiel College.  This year’s royalty were seniors TJ Acosta (Interdisciplinary Engineering, Camichines, Mexico) and Callie Swartz (Middle School Science Education, Loysville, PA).

In addition to the King and Queen, this year’s Homecoming court had four senior representatives: Lydia Kneuss (Communication Disorders, Philadelphia, OH), Luke Gatchel (Computer Science, York, PA), Angela Pratt (Student Ministries, Erie, PA) and Curtis Watson (Communication Disorders, Acme, PA).

The junior representatives were Katelyn Oyler (Communication Disorders, Pittsburgh, PA) and Will Townsend (Biology, Beaver Falls, PA).

2016 Homecoming Court - Swartz, Acosta, Kneuss, Gatchel, Pratt, Watson, Oyler,  Townsend, Monaghan, Test, Duncan, O'ConnorRepresenting the sophomore class were McKenzie Monaghan (Psychology and Human Services, Washington, PA) and Alden Test (Biology, Negley, OH).

Finally, the freshman class was represented by Julia Duncan (Biology Pre-Medicine, Concord, NC) and Nathan O’Connor (Undeclared, Buford, GA).

These individuals were elected by the student body as those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to Geneva College.
