Frostburg, MD – Junior Devin Kelosky (Ellwood City, PA/Riverside) racked up 132 yards rushing, scored a touchdown and chipped in 22 yards passing in the quarterback position but it wasn’t enough to lift Geneva over Frostburg State. The 31-10 loss hands Geneva a 0-1 start to the 2016 season.
Geneva’s points came from senior Neil Harrison’s (Canonsburg, PA/Peters Twp.) foot with a field goal the second, trailing 14-3 at the half. Kelosky’s rush touchdown in the third couldn’t match Frostburg’s nine point third quarter topped with an eight point fourth for the 31-10 final.
Sophomore Trewon Marshall (Leetsdale, PA/Quarker Valley) helped Kelosky in Geneva’s rush game with 14 carries for 40 yards.
