Jane Eyre productionBEAVER FALLS, Pa., October 20, 2016 – Geneva College’s production of Charlotte Brontë’s famed novel, Jane Eyre, will be on display for the public at the Bagpiper Theatre this November. Ticket sales begin today.

Directed by Mindy Williams, Jane Eyre stars Alison Kolber as Jane and Jake Rozmus plays Rochester in a modern day rendition of the classic nineteenth century novel. The production is expected to include “the most complete adaptation of the classic novel ever staged, compelling and dramatic as the story itself.”

Jane Eyre is the story of an orphan girl struggling to find her place in the world through a series of hardships. A connection she makes with a passionate man is threatened by secrets. Will she ever find true love? Will she ever find peace?

With eight performances scheduled in the first two weeks of November, the cast and crew of the production are excited about the chance to bring this story to life. Ms. Kolber explains her enthusiasm of this production stating, “Jane Eyre is a remarkable story filled with romance and intrigue and redemption.” She adds, “Our incredibly talented cast has been working hard to bring this masterpiece to life. If Jane Eyre is one of your favorite novels, or if you’ve never heard of it, this production will make you think and laugh and cry, and I am so excited to share it with all of you!”
