Beaver Falls, PA –Geneva men’s soccer’s junior captain Gibson McCracken (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver County Christian School) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 31, 2016). The honor is his third of the season in his ability to affect both sides of the pitch.

McCracken and the Geneva defense ceded just one goal in a pair of league wins last week, finishing their regular season with a perfect 9-0 mark in PAC play allowing only two goals against conference competition during the regular season. Geneva held Thiel without out a shot in Wednesday’s 2-0 road win before limiting Saint Vincent to just three shots on goal in Saturday’s 3-1 victory. McCracken scored in the 64th minute against the Bearcats.
