Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva, now 1-2, fell to Pitt Bradford in an 87-74 loss in the final game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament Saturday (Nov. 19) afternoon.

“The Coaches vs Cancer Tournament is a way for us to raise money for the Coaches vs Cancer program and we are really excited to get to send some money to them to help a really horrible disease,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “We thank everyone for coming out and encourage everyone to give to the America Cancer Society.”

Geneva held the lead until the last three minutes of the first half. Pitt Bradford produced a last minute surge of energy giving them a one point lead going into the half.

Geneva kept fighting hard and was able to regain a one point lead off of a free throw by Ethan Moose in the 27th minute. The Golden Tornadoes were not able to maintain the lead for long, resulting in the 13 point loss.
