Crestview Hills, KY – The Thomas More Saints ended Geneva’s season in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinals defeating the Golden Tornadoes 94-74. Geneva finished with an overall record 10-16.
Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/ Connellsville) tallied 18 points and nine rebounds, Ethan Moose (New Castle, PA/Neshannock) finished with 18 points and five rebounds, and David Oliver (Sewickley, PA/Quaker Valley) showcased 18 points and three rebounds.
Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) recorded seven assists to finish his stellar career as a Golden Tornado.
Tyler Crenshaw (Moon Twp, PA/Moon/Mt. Aloysius) helped the rebounding game with six off the glass.
“Thomas More is great at taking advantage of mistakes,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “We made enough to give them an edge.”
“Overall, we improved this season including some great double digit wins.”
