Beaver Falls, Pa. – On Saturday, February 11 the Geneva College men’s indoor track and field team competed in the Tiffin Dragon Invite meet at Tiffin University. The day highlighted standout performances in sprints, hurdles, and distance.

“The men had a pretty successful day at Tiffin. This is our last meet before the PAC Championship and after their performance I believe they are ready to compete,” said head coach Phil Thompson.

Alex Parker (Meadville, PA/Meadville) finished in fifth place overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a new time of 8.50 seconds, breaking the school record formerly held by Dalton Paxton’s time of 8.62 seconds in 2016.

Cameron Unrath’s (Wexford, PA/Pine Richland) 7.08 second sprint in the 60 meter open earned him a personal best time and brought him within .03 seconds from the current school record of 7.05.

In distance, sophomore Josh Duffie (Canton, OH/Glenoak) earned a ninth place overall spot in the 3K with a time of 9:08.
