Beaver Falls, PA – The Geneva College men’s tennis team hosted Bethany College on Wednesday, March 29 at Blackhawk High School Tennis Courts. The Bison defeated Geneva 6-3 in the Golden Tornadoes PAC opener. The loss moves their overall record to1-6 and 0-1 in the President’s Athletic Conference.

“We lost 9-0 to Bethany last year,” said head coach Mandee Craft. “It is good to see improvement but we had some chances today that we didn’t capitalize on and that was the difference.”

Two singles victories came at the hands of David Streit in fifth singles (6-4, 6-2) and Jesse Claudio in sixth singles (1-6, 6-4).

In doubles action, Tim Martin and Caleb Hoal tabbed an 8-2 win in third doubles.
