Geneva’s Casey Farkasovsky Tabbed PAC Player of the Week

Beaver Falls, Pa. - Casey Farkasovsky (Beaver, PA/Beaver) opened her collegiate career with the hottest bat in the conference. Farkasovsky was tabbed the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Softball Player of the Week on Monday, March 13.

Farkasovsky batted a .444 tallying 12 hits, six runs, 19 RBIs, drawing seven walks while only striking out twice in her 27 at bats. Of her 12 hits, she recorded five home runs in ten games. Her three RBI homer against Kenyon in the fifth inning allowed the Golden Tornadoes to record the 7-5 comeback win. In addition, she went 2-3 stealing bases.

As Geneva's starting pitcher, Farkosovsky tallied a 2.82 ERA in 49.2 innings pitched. She allowed 59 hits, 25 runs, 20 earned runs, 17 walks, 24 strike outs recording a 5-2 record.
