WandJ Hands Geneva Men’s Tennis 8-1 Loss

Washington, PA – On Wednesday, April 5 the Washington & Jefferson Presidents handed the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes an 8-1 loss in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) men’s tennis match. The loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 1-8, 0-2 in the PAC.

“This was a tough loss but what a fantastic job by Tim to prevent the shutout,” said head coach Mandee Craft.”

First year member, senior Tim Martin (Moon Township, PA / Moon) tabbed a 7-5, 6-4 win in fourth singles to post a win for the GTs.

After changes to the schedule due to weather, Geneva will return to the court next on Saturday, April 5 at Blackhawk high school courts hosting the Thomas More Saints starting at 5:30 p.m.
