Thomas More Hands Men’s Tennis 7-2 Loss

Beaver Falls, Pa. – On Saturday, April 8 the Geneva College men’s tennis program hosted the Thomas More Saints in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The 7-2 loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 1-9, 0-3 in the PAC.

“I was really proud of how hard we fought tonight against a really tough team,” said head coach Mandee Craft. “Even though we only picked up two wins, we were in a lot of the matches.”

Third doubles Tim Martin and Caleb Hoal tallied a huge 9-7 win against the Saints for Geneva’s first point.

Ethan Stahl tallied Geneva’s second team point in a 6-4, 6-3 sixth singles win.

David Streit ended up on the wrong side of a long battle in fifth singles (5-7, 7-6, 9-11).

The Golden Tornadoes return to Blackhawk high school courts in Chippewa, Pa. on Monday, April 10 to host the Grove City Wolverines starting at 4 p.m.
