Geneva Women’s Track & Field Place Fourth at Westminster

New Wilmington, Pa. – The Golden Tornadoes placed fourth at the Westminster Track & Field Invitational on Saturday, April 8.

Rebecca Miller earned a first place finish in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 32:37.08.

The 4x100 meter relay team made up by Nicole Bartoletta, Sarah Klien, Kailee Loose and Jessica Kelosky placed first with a time of 48.97.

In addition, the Golden Tornadoes took first and second place in the women’s 200 meter dash. Bartoletta placed first (25.76) and Kelosky placed second (26.12).

In the 100 meter hurdles, Bartoletta placed second with a time of 14.63 seconds.

Kailee Loose posted a third place finish in the long jump with a leap of 5.08 meters.

In the field, Rebekah Rupert recorded a second place finish in the javelin with a final distance of 36.01 meters.

The women return to action on Wednesday, April 12 hosting their own track meet at Geneva College. The meet’s action begins at 3:30 p.m.
