Geneva College Athletes of the week for the week of September 10 - 15, 2012:
Women:

Anna McMullen – Women's Soccer 

Freshman – Goalkeeper

Uniontown, OH

HS: Lake Center Christian

Anna McMullen has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. McMullen is on a current streak of 255 minutes that she has not allowed a goal. This week, she posted back to back shut-outs in a 2-0 victory over LaRoche and a 0-0 tie against Carlow. She recorded a career best 13 saves in the tie with Carlow and made a diving stop with ten minutes left in regulation to preserve the tie. For the season she has made 38 saves and has a 0.93 goals against average.

Ryan Fronius – Football

Senior – Linebacker

New Castle, PA HS: Neshannock

Ryan Fronius has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Playing perhaps the best game of his career, Fronius led a Geneva defense that held Thiel off the board in the second half of a 21-14 overtime loss. Fronius stuffed the stat sheet with seven tackles, including a sack and two tackles for loss. Fronius also came away with his first interception of the season. For the season, Fronius has 14 solo tackles from his linebacker position.
