Women:

Heidi Mann – Basketball

Heidi Mann has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Mann posted 11 points in Geneva’s loss to Thomas More on Wednesday and then turned around and scored 23 points against Grove City on Saturday. Mann has posted 20+ points in three of her last four games. She also picked up eight steals in the two games combined last week. For the season, Mann leads Geneva offensively with 13.5 points per game.

Keynon Jackson – Basketball

Senior – Forward

HS: Art and Design

Keynon Jackson has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Jackson rejoined the Geneva men’s basketball team in late December and didn’t miss a beat. Last week, he came off the bench to score 17 points against both Thomas More and Grove City. He was 7-11 from the field in both games. Against Thomas More, Jackson added three blocked shots and in the Grove City game, Jackson led the Golden Tornadoes with ten rebounds.

Point of Excellence

The first biopsychology major graduated in 2012 and has been hired as an IOM Tech in UPMC’s Center for Clinical Neurophysiology (CCN).
