Women:

Christine Bullock – Tennis

Junior – Singles and Doubles

Christine Bullock has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Bullock advanced to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference flight five singles match on Saturday before bowing out and settling for a second place finish. She won a pair of matches on Friday to advance to the finals including a three-hour marathon victory over Washington & Jefferson in the first round. She won that match in three sets before winning her semi-final match in straight sets.

Men:

Bryan Butler – Soccer

Sophomore – Goal Keeper

Millersville, MD

HS: Annapolis Christian

Bryan Butler has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Butler has a current streak of three consecutive shut-outs including a pair of shut-outs this past week. Butler was forced to make just one save in Geneva’s 2-0 win at Waynesburg on Tuesday but was put to the test with a seven save effort to salvage a 0-0 double overtime tie with Grove City on Saturday. Butler has a current streak of over 300 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. For the season, he has posted seven shut-outs which is the third highest single season total in school history.

Point of Excellence

The first biopsychology major graduated in 2012 and has been hired as an IOM Tech in UPMC’s Center for Clinical Neurophysiology (CCN).
