Lynsey Gugino has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Gugino stepped into Geneva’s rotation this weekend at the NCCAA East Regional tournament. The freshman responded in a big way with a solid four matches. Gugino combined for 62 assists in Geneva’s matches against Nyack, Mt. Vernon, Houghton and Malone.

Matt Lorello has been named the male student-athlete of the week. Lorello was named to the Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off All-Tournament team for his performance over the weekend. Lorello scored 31 points in Geneva’s game on Friday night against Penn State-Fayette and followed that with a 26 point performance on Saturday against Pitt-Greensburg. Lorello was 13-20 from the field on Friday and 9-18 from the field on Saturday.
