Women:

Leah Prisuta – Basketball

Junior – Forward

Leah Prisuta has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Prisuta filled the stat sheet on Wednesday against Bethany with eight points, three steals, three blocks and four rebounds. On Saturday night, Prisuta scored Geneva’s first ten points in a loss to Waynesburg and finished with 14 points. For the season, Prisuta leads the Golden Tornadoes with 10.8 points per game.

Tyler Damazo – Basketball

Sophomore – Forward

HS: Blackhawk

Tyler Damazo has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Coming off the bench for the Golden Tornadoes, Damazo posted eight points and seven rebounds in a loss to Bethany on Wednesday night. Damazo helped lead the Golden Tornadoes to their first victory of the season on Saturday with ten points and nine rebounds in 18 minutes of action.
