Ashley Davis has been selected as the women’s student-athlete of the week. The volleyball team opened their 2013 season at the St. Vincent Bearcat Challenge Volleyball Tournament this past weekend with Davis contributing 37 kills on Friday night. Ashley provided a solid 18 kills against Frostburg State but then topped her efforts with 19 kills during Geneva’s second game against Carlow University. Davis and her teammates look to continue their strong start on Friday when they travel to the Marcia French Memorial Invitational and face Baldwin Wallace at 4p.m.
Garrett Masters- Men's SoccerSenior- Forward

Garrett Masters has been selected as the men’s student-athlete of the week. Masters was the only Golden Tornado to score on Friday night when the men’s soccer team suffered a 2-1 decision to Mt Union College. Saturday was a different story as Garrett was a contributor on three goals all within 27 minutes of the second half against Hiram College. Masters scored two goals and added an assist as well in the 5-2 win. For the first two days in action, Masters has collected an impressive three goals and one assist for the men’s soccer team.
