Admissions Requirements - MSOL

The Department of Leadership Studies approaches the admissions criteria holistically and considers multiple criteria when considering applicants for the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) Program. The following are required to gain admission:

  1. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum 3.00 grade point average is preferred.
  2. A minimum of three years as a full-time employee with leadership experience or the equivalent.
  3. Proficiency in writing and oral communication. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required.
  4. A positive endorsement for admission from professional or academic references.
  5. Submission of application materials in a timely manner. 
  6. A personal interview with the MSOL program director.

  1. Admissions application
  2. Application essay 
  3. Official transcripts 
  4. Professional resume 
  5. Life and work experience inventory
  6. Writing sample
  7. Three recommendations
