canoe.jpgWhat students have to say about ANVIL…

The trip made me think a lot about my identity in Christ, as well as my priorities. I learned a lot about my capabilities and how to relate to others. I will be starting my classes with more confidence and determination and less anxiety.

It was a blast! The combination of physical and mental challenges, with teamwork and stuff, was highly enjoyable. I loved every minute.

I think I found that I'm often capable of more that I think, and that I jut need to rise to meet the challenge. I am going to be much more aware of my attitudes and will also be more confident in my transition.

I was really scared to go on the trip because I had never been hard-core camping before but the instructors were great. In the end it was facing my fears that made the trip so great.
- 2006 ANVIL Paddle Student

I LOVED being surrounded by creation – the stars, the clouds the trees…I felt like God had put everything there just for my enjoyment.
