Carillon Concert
The McCartney Library bells are a Geneva trademark.  The carillon is made up of fourteen bells cast by the McShane Bell Foundry in Baltimore.   The prelude to the Memorial Service will be played by Kevin Danielson, Assistant Professor and Acquisitions/Periodicals Librarian.

This service memorializes classmates who are deceased.  “New Song” will sing.

Living History Demonstration/Lecture
David Troxell ’71, commander of the 1st Pennsylvania Regiment of the Continental Line  and his wife, Connie (Openshaw ’71) Troxell will be presenting a living history demonstration on the Revolutionary War.  Dressed in uniform with full compliment of accouterments and  period clothing, the demonstration will also include a display of weapons and other war items.

3:00 p.m. Dedication of the newly renovated Archives (McCartney Library)
Two retired faculty members gave a special gift to preserve the records and documents resources, to provide better environment control, and to create a working space for researchers in the Geneva College Archives at McCartney Library.  The gift was presented “in honor of Gerald D. Moran, Ph.D. upon his retirement for his 32 years of diligent service, commitment to Christian higher education, and his passion for making library services available in a wide variety of print and electronic formats.”  Guided tours of the Library will follow the dedication.

Founders Day Gala - "As Time Goes By"
This year's gala features a musical journey through the months of the year.  The May Pole dance will be highlighted in recognition of the May Court reunion.  The gala, an upscale dinner and concert, will be held in Metheny Fieldhouse.  $35 per person

NOTE:  No tickets will be mailed.  Pick up your tickets and name tags at the registration table located in Alexander Hall - upper level.  If you are only attending the gala dinner and concert, you may pickup your tickets at the will-call window in Metheny Fieldhouse which opens at 5 p.m.
