Female:

Melissa Brooks - Soccer
Senior - Midfielder
Cogan Station, PA

Melissa Brooks has been selected as the Female Student-Athlete of the week. Brooks celebrated her senior night on Saturday with her second goal of the season and the only goal of the match in a 1-0 victory over Thomas More College. Brooks took a pass from Rebecca Shaw and headed it into the net with just over five minutes remaining in regulation.

David Girardi - Football
Sophomore - Quarterback
St. Petersburg, FL

David Girardi has been selected as the Male Student-Athlete of the week. Girardi guided the Golden Tornadoes to a 42-19 victory at Saint Vincent on Saturday. He completed 12-21 passes for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He threw touchdown passes to Brian Dvorsak and Matt Barge to help the Golden Tornadoes pick up their second victory of the season.
