Emily Hoobler – Cross Country
Senior – Distance

Emily Hoobler has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Hoobler helped the Geneva College women’s cross country team to a fourth place finish at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday. Running one of the best races of her career, Hoobler was Geneva’s top female finisher with a 20th place overall finish, which was good enough for Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition. Finishing with an overall time of 25:45, she was the first of five Geneva runners to finish in the top 25.

Nick Edinger – Cross Country

Nick Edinger has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Edinger was named a second team All-PAC selection after his ninth place finish at the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships. Geneva’s top finisher, Edinger posted a time of 27:50 on the 8K course. Edinger helped lead the Geneva cross country team to a fourth place overall finish In its first year of post-season eligibility in the PAC and the NCAA.
