Rebecca VanRegenmorter - Cross Country Rebecca VanRegenmorter has been selected as the Female Student-Athlete of the week. VanRegenmorter finished sixth overall at the PAC championships out of a field of 100 runners. She crossed the line with a time of 22:59 on the 6K course. It was the first time she had broken the 23 minute barrier in a 6K event. VanRegenmorter led Geneva's women's team to a 4th place finish which enabled them to qualify for the NCCAA national meet in two weeks. |

Matt Barge - Football Matt Barge has been selected as the Male student-athlete of the week. Barge rushed for 143 yards on 18 carries to lead an explosive Geneva rushing attack past Bethany 38-23. Barge also scored a pair of touchdowns from 29 and 51 yards out. Geneva won for the second straight week to improve its record to 3-5 on the season. |
