Alyse Scarsella – Basketball Alyse Scarsella has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Scarsella posted a pair of double-doubles in Geneva’s 1-1 week. On Wednesday she scored 16 points and pulled down ten rebounds in Geneva’s come-from-behind victory over Washington & Jefferson. Despite a loss to Thiel on Saturday, Scarsella scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her third consecutive double-double and 16th of her career. |

Bryan Hill – Basketball Bryan Hill has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Hill caught fire at Metheny Fieldhouse last Wednesday night in scoring 27 points that included 7 three-point field goals. Hill was 7-8 from three-point range while also becoming the 35th player in school history to reach the 1000 point plateau for his career. Hill also connected on 3-4 three-point field goals on Saturday and finished with 11 points in Geneva’s loss at Thiel. For the week, Hill was 10-12 from three point range for an unthinkable 83% from long range. |
