Female:

Katherine Michalak – Indoor Track and Field
Junior – Throws

Katherine Michalak has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Michalak qualified for the NCCAA national indoor meet with a fourth place performance in the shot put event at Baldwin-Wallace College. Michalak finished with a distance of 36-02.25 to qualify for the national meet for the first time.

Nick Edinger – Indoor Track and Field
Junior – Distance

Mars High School

Nick Edinger has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Edinger broke the Geneva College school record in the 3K race at Baldwin-Wallace in the first indoor meet of the season. Edinger placed fourth in the race with a time of 9:00.95. He also qualified for the NCCAA national indoor meet for the third consecutive year.
