Alyse Scarsella – Basketball Alyse Scarsella has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Scarsella enjoyed the best week of her career posting back to back double-doubles as the Golden Tornadoes split a pair of games. She scored a career high 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a victory over Waynesburg on Wednesday. On Saturday night, she out did herself with 22 points and 11 boards against 22nd ranked W & J. |

Rich Colick – Basketball Rich Colick has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Colick led the Golden Tornadoes to a pair of victories stretching the current win streak to six games. Colick scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds in Geneva’s 75-56 victory over Waynesburg. Colick was 7-8 from the field in the win. On Saturday, Colick posted 24 points and four rebounds as Geneva held off W & J by the score of 70-69. For the season, Colick continues to lead Geneva with his 17.4 points per game average. |
