Allyson Clarke - Women's Basketball Allyson Clarke has been selected as this week's Female athlete of the week. Clarke watched her team move to 14-3 on the season with one win and one loss against a pair of long time rivals. The week started with an impressive 73-46 victory over Westminster. Clarke scored 24 points and added nine rebounds. She was 10-12 from the foul line and 7-10 from the field in helping pace the Golden Tornadoes attack. Geneva dropped a 54-45 decision to Grove City on Saturday but Clarke still managed to score 19 points, including a 7-8 effort from the foul line. For the season, Clarke has an average of 16.4 points per game, while also leading the PAC with 10.1 rebounds per contest. |

Mike Ross - Men's Basketball Mike Ross has been selected as this week's Male athlete of the week. Ross played a huge role in Geneva's 67-62 victory at Westminster last Wednesday night. Ross finished with nine points and seven rebounds. He converted a pair of three-point field goals in the second half that helped seal the victory over Geneva's long-time rival. On Saturday afternoon, Ross scored 14 points, including four three-point field goals. He also pulled down six rebounds despite the 67-60 loss to Grove City. |
