Valerie Hamilton – Basketball Val Hamilton has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Helping Geneva past Bethany on Saturday afternoon, Hamilton scored 19 points on 9-13 shooting. She scored 13 of those points in the second half to lift Geneva to a 61-57 victory. Earlier in the week, Hamilton posted ten points and nine rebounds in a loss to Thiel College. For the season, Hamilton is scoring ten points and pulling down nearly six rebounds per game. |

Nate Reep – Basketball Nate Reep has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Reep scored a career high 13 points on 6-6 shooting from the field on Saturday against Bethany College. Coming off the bench with 24 minutes of playing time, Reep scored 13 points and dished out a team best five assists while also coming up with a steal and a rebound in limited action. Despite dropping a pair of games last week, Geneva’s men’s team sits at 11-9 for the season with Reep continuing to play the role of spark plug off the bench. For the season, Reep is averaging four points per game off the bench. |
