Geneva College Athletes of the week for the week of January 4-9, 2010:

Female:

Renee Rawding – Basketball

Renee Rawding has been selected as the female student-athlete of the week. Rawding posted a season high 30 points in Geneva’s double overtime loss to Chatham on Saturday afternoon. She was 11-18 from the field and pulled down a season best seven rebounds. She also scored 12 points In Geneva’s loss to Saint Vincent earlier in the week. For the season, Rawding leads Geneva with 13.8 points per game.

Bryan Hill has been selected as the male student-athlete of the week. Hill found his long distance shooting touch this past week as he knocked down a total of five three-point field goals in victories over Saint Vincent and Penn State Beaver. Hill had 13 points against the Bearcats and followed that with an eight point effort in the victory over Penn State Beaver. For the season, Hill is averaging 7.5 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 23 three-point field goals.
